Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 problems

so, here is my first couple of questions as a new Android user.

as written in my profile, my tablet is an Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 running Jelly Bean.

Which version do i have for my tablet? will there be any updates soon?

i?m also facing the problem that my tablet hangs sometimes without notice. This happens
mostly when i try to start games like Candy Crush and similar.

why does this happen?

Welcome to Android Central! You can find your Android version by going to Settings>About Tablet>Android Version. You can go to Settings>About Tablet>System Updates to see if there are any official system updates available for your device.

Device freezes can be due to a lot of issues. I would suspect that it is an issue with one of your apps (possibly Candy Crush). You could always try a cache partition wipe, which clears out temporary system data that might cause glitches, but won't cause any loss of personal data or settings. Follow these instructions, but instead of "wipe data/factory reset," make sure you select "wipe cache partition." Perform a hardware factory reset - Samsung Galaxy Tab 3

what is the latest version for Jelly Bean? i think i have 4.2 now.

is there different versions of Android?
