Samsung Galaxy tab 4 touchscreen wont respond

Samsung Galaxy tab 4 (SAMSUNG-SM-T537A)......................turned on tablet this morning touchscreen will not work at all. Tried a Soft restart still nothing .........would try a factory reinstall but cannot power off ............need some suggestions... thks

Welcome to Android Central! You could try wiping the system cache partition or doing a factory reset from the Recovery Menu:

If that doesn't help, then the digitizer may have failed. It would have to be replaced.
