Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 cases...what is everyone using?

These are excellent and great price on eBay, 20$ for genuine case, I was impressed.

I'm using an Incipio Octane at the moment but just ordered the Samsung case because I couldn't resist it at half price. The Octane is solid if a bit bulky. I use their cases on my phones and have been happy with them.

I had a half price code from Samsung and just figured I might as well grab it for $35.00.

Just saw the E Bay deal. Oh well. I already pulled the trigger on it.

Hi. I just got my G S2 8.0 and I need a case, also a tempered glass protector. But, not sure which one to get. Do you have a link to the seller or the ebay listing for the case? TIA.

While I like the Samsung cover I'm really glad I didn't pay full price for it. I would have never have paid $70.00 for it.

It does fit well and all but I'm not seeing $70.00 of value.

I have 2 samsung book covers, black and gold.
they look really nice especially the gold cover with the white s2. Maybe its just me, but i find it difficult to open soemtimes. might be the acrylic nails not sure. Will probably purchase a 3rd party case like i did for my daughter

I bought the ProCase for only about $18, and it's beautiful. Very stylish and professional looking. I've had it for 6 months now and it's still in perfect condition. Don't take my word for it - got to a place like Amazon and look at all the positive reviews for it. Can't be beat, especially for the price.Don't let the figure deceive you - it doesn't feel cheap at all.

I have the Book Cover, however I am considering the keyboard cover since I am doing more word processing on the go now with my tablet.

Anyone have any gripes with it besides the well documented issue with it shutting off with the keyboard on the back? I'm mostly concerned it'll be super flimsy if I remove the keyboard and just use it as a regular cover, hence providing even less protection...

I got the "Beetle Defense" case from Supcase off of Amazon. Pretty beefy and the built-in screen protector is crap, but the case itself feels well made and fits perfectly. I didn't really want a hefty case like this, but with a 1.5 year old running around the house, I figured it needed protection :-)

I'd recommend it, but just don't expect much from the screen protector (probably gonna remove it). Good value, though, for $25.

I just bought a tab s2 9.7. Trying to find a case. I definitely want something to protect against drops, but also like the folio tri fold book cover style cases. Are there any rugged book covers? I really like the UAG cases for the iPad, but unfortunately they don't make them for the tab s2

To those wishing for a UAG case for their tab s2, we may get one if we pressure them enough. I messaged them on Facebook, requesting that they make a case for the tab s2. This is the response I got...

We hope you're having a wonderful day! Our community has requested that we develop a case for the Galaxy Tab S2 before and our design team has considered it, but no decision has been made either way. Rest assured, we plan to bring this up again with our design team.

I really hope they make one. It would be everything I want in a tablet case. Rugged drop protection, good grip, with folio styling.

I had this cover for my Nexus 7 .. LOVED every aspect of it .. read the details and see what you think. I couldn't find it for quite a while .. ended up ordering 2 others .. threw them away! Finally found this one again .. so happy. Especially like the interior hand strap for holding it while reading in bed at night .. also great for the various angles with the build in stand to hold it in place while reading.

I love my Samsung Galaxy S2 Tab genuine case & bluetooth keyboard BUT:
Some keys type wrong.
When I type ^shift 2^ to get an @ sign, it gives me " .
When I type ^shift '^ to get a ", it gives me an @ sign - the opposite of my request.
If I want a # ^shift3^ gives me a £ symbol.
I've returned it to 'ProGadgets' where i bought it and the replacement they sent me makes all the same mistakes!
Grrr very frustrating.
I wrote a terse email to Progadgets re getting a good one.
They wrote back to say they have never had the problem; they tested the one I returned and found it was fine; "You must have something wrong with your tablet"
Samsung repairs checked it out; re-installed the operating system but the problem continued!
I returned it to Officeworks Penrith and the assistant there said "Yeah, I've seen this before. If you set up with Language: English (Australian) but any other keyboard than th US keyboard, then errors occur"
He was about to take it back and did a factory reset. For one last time he tried the bluetooth connection and the Samsung keyboard worked perfectly!!
Saved.
I wrote back to the guy at Progadgets and apologised for my rudeness and that it was my Tablet, not their keyboard that was the problem. ;-P

I'm getting the S2 8.0, and need to get a screen protector and case. I need ones that will do the job but not be too expensive. Doesn't have to be the cheapest, but I have very limited funds. (Tablet itself is a gift. :))

This will be my first tablet. I really don't know anything about cases. I do want what I think is called a book cover, that can be folded so the tablet sits up on an easel. Do all of these covers require "unsnapping" the tablet from the back of the case to stand it up? I don't really have a specific price limit, but would love to keep it under $20 if possible. I'd love to have one with a keyboard, but I suspect those aren't in my very limited budget. Husband thinks I should get a case like his (Poetic), but I don't like how you have to snap the tablet out of the case to stand it up. Maybe they're all like that?

I need a good quality screen protector. I'm very happy with the tempered glass protector on my Note 5. Can't remember the brand name, but I can find out.

Anyway, suggestions welcome. Thanks.
