Samsung Galaxy watch LTE version wont make or accept calls when away from phone.

I have the Samsung Watch LTE version and when I am away from my phone if left at home when I walk or the store I can text and receive texts fine. When I receive a call I answer and the call immediately drops. If I try to call someone same thing! Help! I am on the Verizon network.
