Samsung Gallery

I have not found a way to use Google photos exclusively without needing some interaction from Samsung Gallery. If anyone has a solution please chime in. I have tried to disable it but I still need it to delete photos. I have tried all of the obvious things like trying to set default etc.. Does everyone just use both or does everyone just sync with Samsung Cloud and use Gallery solely?

I just use Gallery.

Google photos is limited in functions as you have pointed out.

I use google photos for backing up, but otherwise I just use the gallery.
