Samsung gear manager update

Anyone have a fix for the update I received today, the app opens but relaunches after I click on my gear that had been paired to my phone and our wouldn't be so bad if it didn't loop and the only way to stop the loop is the home button and sit the app off with the task killer. I now have zero functionality of any of the watches features that require the phone... so basically it's now just a watch.

By the way I'm on Verizon with a stock Note3 on 4.3 - not rooted.

I just updated my gear manager and my watch and its completely bricked, wanted me to connect it to the phone like it was brand new and now it doesn't work at all.

But wait, as I was typing this, I Decided to go into the phones bluetooth settings and unpaired it, then I opened the Gear Manager, clicked the available device, then it popped up on my watch to pair the two, and I clicked the check box on the phone and watch and now its working.
 
I tried un pairing my gear 1 and then re pairing it, and I still have the sane results. I wish I could attach a screen shot to show you as far as I can get before the program relaunches. Samsung advanced tech support told me it was their fault and it would be fixed by last night... No surprise it wasn't.
