Samsung Health Step Counter stopped working after Oreo

I noticed that my S health pedometer stopped working after April Oreo update. I thought May update would fix it but it didn't. I've uninstalled the app and reinstalled, deleted data and started it up as new, still no luck. Anyone knows a fix?

Only because you mentioned it I noticed I haven't been getting the daily and weekly workout/steps summary, when I opened Samsung health app I had to agree to T&C's again

Did you clear cache on the phone?

Yes i did. Can't figure it out.

I have noticed that some days it works fine, others not so much.
went for a 4 mile walk this evening and it didn't record any steps.
