Yesterday, I started the Samsung Health Global Challenge for July. The challenge is to walk 200000 steps in the month. I am averaging 13000 steps a day so this should be quite easy for me.
At the end of yesterday, 1st July, 6 people had already completed the challenge. Today the top walker is logged at 533000 steps over the two days.
I have measured my pace and a normal walk is 120 steps a minute for me, a slow jog is 150 steps a minute and a sprint is 220 steps a minute.
I would have to sprint for 20 hours each day to get 533000 steps over two days. Is it my device that isn't measuring enough steps or is the 533000 totally implausible?
