samsung i9300 not charging but sync with pc / kies okay

hi can anyone help.. when i plug charger into phone the lightining streak comes on the battery if i check on phone status it says charging (dc or usb which ever plugged in) but the battery level does not rise its almost if its draining the battery ive tried new cables new batterys and different sockets around the home. my pc finds the phone without a problem anyone any ideas

Hi,

I am facing the same problem. When i connect the phone to the usb it displays a message saying connected as media device. and does not charge my phone at all. i tried switching off and on my phone, checked the usb everything looks fine, but my phone is not charging. it syncs with the PC but no battery.
please advice
