Android Central Question

I recently got a new phone, and after only a week of use, it stopped being able to charge. It will recognise when a charger is connected, the status changes to charging, but the battery level doesn't rise. After researching online I downloaded Ampere, it measures 0mA; the battery will neither rise nor fall as long as its plugged in.
I've tried all different cables and adapters, I've ran checked for debris in the port. At this point, do I assume I'm very unlucky and got a faulty model? Anyone else had a similar experience?

If it's a Moto phone then assume it's got issues (which it sounds like it does), and return it. If you got it off of Amazon regardless of the brand you definitely got a bad phone.... return it ;)

Welcome to Android Central! I agree, if this is happening so soon, don't futz around -- just ask the seller for a refund or exchange.
