Samsung Internet Browser for Verizon

Were you getting device isn't compatible with this version before.

Did you just locate it in the Play Store or had to find it through a Google search?

yes it was incompatible before google search gets me that screen and searching from within the play app doesn't find the app at all.

The account stuff my make sense. Perhaps the google store is still linking your account to an older device it deems is not compatible hence trying different accounts work.

I am pretty sure my Note 5 was compatible...LOL not 100% sure tho.

Is it possible to transfer my saved logins and passwords from chrome to the Samsung browser?

My S7 and my Galaxy Tab S2 are my first android devices, so I don't think it's that. Though I can't seem to find anyplace to manage devices to check what's registered. I'm still getting the not compatible message as well.

Man this thing is so much faster than chrome. And I like how you can use your fingerprint to login to websites.

I installed a modded APK from XDA since the store was not allowing me to install. Works great.

Still doesn't work for me. I got the update last night as well but when I go to the app page it says incompatible.

I haven't had much luck either. I have just been using the XDA APK for the past handful of days with no issues. Just use that until it is finally live in the Play Store.

I used logging in from a different account and then was able to download it on 3 different Verizon phones using Opera mini as a browser and downloading it through the Web play store.

But now that since some of you have it. Which one do you prefer or think is faster? Chrome or Samsung Internet? I miss all my auto fill data because I've been using Chrome for years though. Let me know if someone finds a way to sync the data through.

Question - could I save my Chrome bookmarks as an HTML file to my SD card then import them into the Samsung browser?

Got it to work on my Verizon S7 Edge, Just googled Samsung Internet, Found the Playstore link and installed directly from the google play store.

All of my Chrome bookmarks synced to the Samsung browser. Just make sure "sync internet" is checked off in the Samsung Account settings.

Finally
