How can a file be moved for example, from the download folder to the main screen? I was able to create a shortcut to it. When I long press the file and see options on the bottom such as Move and Move here. But Move here option is in light text, so not a valid option at the moment. Somehow, I don't know how - I touched something on the screen that brought up various destinations, then Move here was bold and a valid option. To summarize - after pressing Move, what would be the next step to show available destinations?

I see if I select the file, then on the top arrow back to My Files - Internal Storage the Move here option becomes active. Folders where it can be moved are shown, or a new folder can be created. The easiest way though seems to be to just create a shortcut to the file on the Home Screen. It appears on the last screen, but can then just be moved elsewhere.

Hi, if you long press say a picture tap the 3 dots upper right can choose shortcuts

You may want to try a different file manager app like Files by Google or Total Commander.
