Idk about y'all but I'm happy for an update that hopefully fixes how bad it has been on this phone. Let me know if you notice any improvement.Screenshot_20190426-194302_One%20UI%20Home.jpeg

Samsung keyboard isn't bad, just missing basic features that keyboards like Gboard and Swiftkey have. with the update it still doesn't.

I got the update but haven't used the Samsung keyboard in years. Swiftkey ftw!

I was a huge Swiftkey fan, but recently it went wacko on me--keeps resizing and going goofy. In self defense I just went to the Sammy keyboard to wait it out, and will check back later to see if it's fixed.

The check your power settings. Your phone could be changing screen res to save battery

Wait it out? Clear your cache partition and reboot.
Give SwiftKey a try, you may like it.

That's weird, that's never happened to me. Like someone above me said, it sounds like your screen resolution is changing. Do you have adaptive power saving on? If so, it can change the screen resolution for you.

Does Swiftkey, or any other S10 keyboard come with forward and backward space *nondestructive* keys? Always Having to put your fingertips at a screen spot is unproductive and archaic (although an orthopedic hand surgeon's dream).

My HTC One M8 keyboard had this option--right at the bottom of the keyboard. So do all keyboards for larger devices like iPads, laptops and workstations.

Often seems like, one step forward, two steps backwards. :-)

Thx!

I've been using the sammy keyboard since I got this phone. Used gboard on my S7, but havent installed it yet. Have really been liking the stock keyboard.

Swiftkey has arrow keys you can enable, yes.

So does Sammy's keyboard.

I have always used the Samsung keyboard & I have never noticed the arrow keys. (Must need an eye exam. :))

When I make a screen selection, my fingernail always gets in the way & the struggle is on!

Thanks so very much! This will make things considerably easier.

Yall changed the topic from Samung Keyboard update to talk about SwitfKey when its irrelevant to my post. I wished more Mods would take care of this

Samsung keyboard does have the arrows and ability to highlight. It's called "Text Editing" it's been existing since a long time ago Screenshot_20190428-141141.jpeg

yes I know that is possible, but I thought you meant the arrows were visible on the top layer

1) As Far as the Samsung Keyboard update, I haven't noticed any significant change good or bad. I'm always happy when a update doesn't make things worse.

2) As far as the arrow keys on the Samsung keyboard, I was really excited about it, but I was on my Samsung Tab S3 when I read the @Adam Frix post & the Tab S3 does have the arrow keys on top, but not so on my s10+ unfortunately.
