Samsung knox?

OK I am late too the party, I just purchased a Note 3 and have a question or 2. First I noticed the Samsung Knox, is this something I should use? It appears to be more for a business user. Second what us a good app for a virus protector and will prevent hacking especially if using an open wifi.

Knox is for corporate enterprise users - don't worry about it.
It is debatable whether antivirus is necessary on an android phone, but Avast is very good and won't weigh down the phone very much. However, no antivirus app can protect you if you are careless on an open WiFi. Don't do banking or other sensitive tasks, don't type your passwords while on an open WiFi.
