Samsung Link AND Kies do NOT work with S7

FWIW....from link.samsung.com website:

Samsung link will end service November 1, 2016
I hate this! I use Link all the time and love that I can have it automagically back up photos from phone to PC.

Samsung link allows you to wirelessly transfer files in AND outside your home network. Also, it can link all my phones, tablets, etc to each other and the PC. That's what I'm looking for. I already have developer options enabled and I can transfer the files from my comp with a cable but that's not what I want. Plus, Link has the ability to back up your pictures as you take them to your PC for free which is a nice feature.

I am desperately seeking an alternative. So far, AirDroid is sort of working. It does a lot more (which is OK), but doesn't support auto-saving of photos. I'm going to give Plex a try.

Suggestions please.

I have a S5 and the video app via Samsung link will play video files from my nas drive or shared folder on a pc, it can even be used to show pics from a Samsung camera so why they have left this so late to do is beyond me

Isn't Sidesync supposed to replace Link?

Dropbox already autosaves photos, so does Google Drive and OneDrive, and they all also automagically downloads these photos to your PC. Maybe Samsung figured that few people use link and not bother to pay for those servers anymore.

Ok lets get this thread back on track
Samsung Link
this is not Samsung Sync which keeps files synced on a PC
Smart switch is well if you switch phones
Samsung Link is a strem app that can be used to stream media
I have a NX1 samsungs Top spec Digital SLR this has Samsung Link i link it to my S5 so i can use this as a remote view finder Cannon and Nikon have a simular app my Tablet also has this but with this statment from Samsung https://link.samsung.com/
there is no explination.
Thankfully the app will still work on older devices but not to there cloud, but yet again its samsung removing somthing that for many worked
i have tried third party apps but none work or are compatable with the DSLR
Samsung UK are well completly confussed over this, Samsung Korea on the other hand say that the licance with the developer has come to a end i pointed out thats you ???
Nope they used a third party company to Develop this
Its a Copy of what happend when the S6 came out that group play was not on and not spotted by the press
samsung said then it was slimming down the Bloat ware it put on, but that was a excuse
the S5 has all the apps on it and after the Note mess up they should put back stuff they removed to make the S7 and Edge even better
