Samsung Link Platform

Can some one tell me what this is? Also what apps interface to it? There has been a lot of talk about it draining the battery and I'm just curious as to what it is and what it does.

Yep i had the same problem so uninstalled it as i dont need or use it. It's for connecting the S5 to compatible Samsung devices for media streaming such as a TV.
