Samsung lock screen set to pattern but reverts back to swipe once locked. can anyone help ?

I have set my lock screen to pattern but it seems to revert back to swipe when the phone locks itself ? Samsung s5. TIA

For somewhere reason it reverts back to swipe unlock when Bluetooth is on ??

Hi Homer, welcome to the forums! Have you enabled any Smart lock option in your security settings?

Not sure? Where do I find that setting ?

Think it might be when I'm connected to Bluetooth

You could try in Menu --> Settings --> Lock screen and security --> Secure Lock settings --> Smart Lock.
