Agree. That is annoying. Why not a multi select or select all feature

Some of that is BS. I've sent images at full resolution and it shows up that way on the other end. Also, I've sent videos that were larger than 200MB. The trick is to share them from Gallery and not attach them from with the Messages app.

Sure, there are some functions that Samsung Messages has that Google Messages does not. The key is that Google is constantly improving the app. We don't see it all the time, because most of the upgrades and updates are done on the back end.

Having used it for the past five years (at least), I have seen a lot of improvements.

Google app doesn't allow the user to delete individual lines in a conversation chain like the Samsung app as Google requires the entire chain be deleted. Samsung app for me hands down.

Not sure if this works on RCS messages but if you have a second messenger installed, you can use it to delete individual messages and then switch back to G-Messages and it should be gone there too.

Why in the world would I want to use two messaging apps???

My statement was in reference to individuals that need to delete individual messages based on whatever motive there is behind that odd need/desire.
