Samsung Messages Yellow Text in Some Messages

For about the past two weeks, I've noticed that some of my messages have yellow text, while others (such as to my mom) are still in white text. The only thing I can think of is that my mom uses a flip phone (white text) while the others I text use smartphones (yellow text). Has this happened for anyone else and what does it mean?

You have a theme ? Stock Mines Grey for that person and teal for me

I have a theme called High Contrast enabled for my phone in general. Nothing applied specifically to Messages. The text wasn't different colors when I used High Contrast in the past though.

Try without it see if it goes back to normal
