I get error message:. Cannot connect to Samsung Milk Music Service. This is the only player available on the pull out menu. Anyone else figure out what's going on?

Samsung Milk Music is no longer available. Was discontinued on September 22, 2016.

if it's no longer available, why is it the only choice offered on the note 8 pull out menu?

Did you possibly restore your phone from an older phone that still had the Samsung Milk app on it? If so, that is why you have it on the Note 8. I think Samsung discontinued that app about two years ago now.

My note8 has samsung muaic app no samsung milk music app. The Samsung music app works great.

Samsung Milk Music came with my brand new note 8. The pull out menu is called Edge Panels built into the home screen. Milk Music is the only player available

Well, I'm confused. Is there still a Milk Music app or not. I had it on my Note 3 and enjoyed it.

For those that enjoyed it .. If I recall correctly it was just using Slacker Radio. I would just go use Slacker and you should have the same experience :).

Not sure why you have it on your Note 8 but Milk Music was a free app Samsung provided to galaxy users, it was ad free radio powered by slacker, I used it a lot before getting Google Play Music.

I uninstalled Milk Music. that took it off my Edge Panel. I then installed Samsung Music. It has an option to put it on the Edge Panel. Problem solved!
