Question Samsung Note 20 ultra 5G erase

Hello everybody!

I am going to sale my Samsung note 20 ultra which is lying in my drawer for 2 years with no sim inside.
After being charged, I turned it on but I could not get through because I was asked for a password which I do not remember . I tried to turn it off and I was asked again to put a password...
I am in a loop now because I forgot the passwords and I just want to erase my phone before selling it.
Considering the loop- How can I erase the phone?

Welcome to Android Central! You could try booting into Recovery and doing the factory reset from there: https://www.hardreset.info/devices/samsung/samsung-galaxy-note-20/. If it doesn't let you power off without a password, then let the battery run out first, and then charge it, then follow the steps in the link.

Factory reset in recovery is for you to enter your Google credentials, it will erase the device but your account is still linked so you have to go back in settings of the device and perform factory reset there before selling.
