Samsung Note 3 European sim Free - No kit kat update for me

Hello,

New to andriod. I've just bought a European sim Free SM-N9005 running baseband N9005XXUDMJ7 build number JUST. N9005XXUDMJ7. Is kit kat coming out for my version of the phone.

It's coming, but the rollout seems to be going pretty slowly right now. It will depend on the region you're on. For instance, in my case, I have the N9000 version and while I know that the KitKat update has been released in other regions, mine hasn't gotten it yet. It is kinda frustrating to see CARRIERS pushing out the update and mine, being factory-unlocked hasn't! The reason I bought it Sim-Free was that, to avoid going through the carrier for updates ??'

Thanks mate. I will be going back to Germany and inserting my Germany sim hopefully I will get the update that way.
