Samsung Note 3: "Prevention Information" Message

Re: Samsung Note 3 "Prevention Information" Message

Ok new update not sure on how long but after doing what the other user said that did not work. So I went back to researching. I found a forum where a developer was answering questions about Knox. This is not going to make sense but it worked. I realized that every time I would turn on or off my wifi I would get the error message from Knox even though I never installed it on my device. What the developer said to do was to install Knox put in passwords and once it is done. Click the menu button and uninstall it. I did that. After doing so as soon as I shut off my wifi and turned it back on the notification from Knox showed back up I long pressed the notification it said turn off Knox notifications. So I did then I went into settings And then security and unchecked Auto update security and also The Unknown sources Box. Now I'm not sure which one of those things fixed the problem but, I have turned my wifi on and off thirty times since and no Un needed friggin annoying notification from Knox. Thank god. I update after a day or so and let you know if this is still working.

Thanks for your directions! I though that it was too complex as a solution, so I tried to figure out what else might be triggering this notification....
I did this, and I have no problems after several restarts:
- Enable KNOX if you had it disabled
- Go to Settings-General-Security and disable the checkmarks next to "Auto update security" and "Via Wifi only" under "Security update service"
- Toggle WiFi on-off to trigger the KNOX security message
- Clink on the message and choose UPDATE instead of ok or cancel...

You will see a message of successfully updated policy (I don't exactly remembered what was it) and you will have no issues again [I hope so].

Please let me know if that helped you... I've just registered to write all these :-)

Re: Samsung Note 3 "Prevention Information" Message

Geez guys, I read 9 pages. It seems to me that problem is mainly in the US exept for one that is in quebec. All that happen in November.
I am in Canada and bought my note 3, 2.5 weeks ago. I never had that problem with knox.
My firm ware is the MJ 4 and version 4.3. At first I never updated knox cause I did not know what is was for but now I have it on cause I needed a good password keeper

I do not see this "update" option anywhere. anyone know how to find the "update"

Re: Samsung Note 3 "Prevention Information" Message

Same as above. After reading all this, none of these fixes are possible for me.

There is no UPDATE selection. Knox cannot be uninstalled or stopped, no option for either.

Turned off security toggles and message still shows up when wife connects, then keeps appearing periodically.

Why do fixes work on some systems and not mine?

Can't answer that, it doesn't affect performance in any way, you should just select the don't notify for 30 days option that it gives you, that's what I did before the kitkat update, which fixes it by the way.

I have recently starting seeing this on my phone every hour or so, and always when I reboot.
View attachment 88562

If I click OK it goes to my list of applications
If I click cancel the message disappears for a while.
I haven't clicked the "do not show for 30 days" option, as I'm trying to figure out why it is appearing, but will do so if all else fails
No applications appear to be running at the time.

New Note 3 phone. Unrooted.
Any help will be appreciated. It's driving me mad.

Yea ,is here anybody know the solution :/
