Samsung Note 4 Automatically downloading pics

My Samsung Note 4 has started automatically downloading pics that are messaged to me. I don't do anything on my end to save them, they just show up in my photos gallery, and its annoying. How do I turn this off? Its been doing this for about 2 weeks, I've had the phone for a year.

I would check the settings to see if there is an option to auto download pictures in the messaging app
