Samsung Pay Notifications

So I'm a big user of Samsung pay with my S3 Frontier watch and with the gear app installed on the pixel 2 it works fine, but I have noticed that notifications are very inconsistent, after every purchase I should get a notification on my watch and phone of the transaction, this doesn't always happen only occasionally, I realize this is not a Samsung device, I had a Sony phone Xperia for a little bit and it would work fine on there, and obviously works normally on a Samsung phone.

Gear S3 is heavily neutered on a non Samsung phone. That's by design. Samsung wants you to buy their phones to get the full experience. You also can't say "text Mary, how are you". Unless you are on LTE.

Works fine on the Sony though.

Maybe it's just an Oreo thing that will get fixed.

I had a Gear S3 on my OG XL. it was terrible. And svoice was just useless. sold it and got an LG watch sport. So much better. Spay was really nice, but not worth all the negatives.

Yeah I don't even try using svoice. I use Samsung Pay a ton though. I personally find the Gear S3 to be better than AW watches. I've got two AW watches on 2.0 that just sit in a drawer. The only plus for me with the AW watches was that my messaging apps worked a little better on them.

That's one of the things I use the most.

Yeah I can see switching then. It's so annoying how I can only see the most recent message from telegram on my watch.

My missing notification for Samsung pay purchase showed up along with my points earned for that, all other purchases after that have worked properly.
