Can I get some feed back on which one is better and more safe and easier to use please.
And if you use one, how do you like it.
Samsung pay
Android pay

Thank you in advance

I just got my phone, and haven't tried out Samsung Pay yet (although I have set it up)

I've used Android Pay in the past, and frankly it's easier just to whip out my credit card.

I just switched back from IPhone X to my Galaxy. But I do say that Apple Pay worked great and I never had an issue, very quick and easy. But I never use Samsung or Android pay ever on any of my galaxys. But so use to it on my apple phone, I want to use it now on my galaxy.

I have been using Samsung Pay and I love it! It's my first experience with any phone pay so I can't compare. I have all my store cards stored and it is so easy to show those at the register rather than carry them all on my keys or have to pull out my wallet. Paying is so simple and I have it set up to require my fingerprint. I can even access it when my phone is locked with one swipe. It's completely safe because it doesn't use your actual credit or debit card number. It masks your actual number with a fake number.

Sammy pay when not in use was using battery, always used Android pay anyway which has hardly any to no battery usage, so sacked off/disabled Sammy pay and kept on using Android pay. Also i don't like that extra tab at the bottom, that Sammy pay uses. To use Android pay the phone has to be unlocked, but it's hardly any inconvenience.

Samsung Pay is a smoother experience than Android Pay. More places take SP than AP.

Samsung pay is the best period. There is one major factor in that MST ( Magnetic Secure Transmission) which allows you to use Samsung pay anywhere that has a terminal that can handle a credit card swipe. This feature alone is why Samsung pay is the best.

Plus if your bank supports it say for instance if you have to get a new card for some reason Samsung pay can update immediately before your card is even sent out so you can use your brand new card before you even have it.

The only reason (well, one of the few reasons) why I purchased an S9+ is because of Samsung Pay. It's accepted everywhere, which is great.

Samsung pay all day... Accepted everywhere esp. in US due to MST. Can earn points and possibly win prizes. Now that Paypay is FINALLY out of beta and can be used I have no use for Android Pay.

You can turn off the tab on the bottom- I don't mind it on my home screen but did turn it off the AOD & security screens cause I'd accidentally swipe it sometimes

Thank you all for your information on this subject.
Looks like Samsung pay it is..

Thanks again

But the battery usage :/ why does sammy pay constantly run in the bground, check your stats, sammy pay is always near the top, no good, batt life is king for me.

So i just switched to Sammy pay to try it out again, but;

After the swipe up you have to press the fingerprint and/or Pin/Iris button for the card? before you tap the machine? i hate that if that's the case, its an extra step compared to Android pay where you just unlock and tap. I do like the ability to swipe from screen off though.

Also one of my credit cards isn't able to be used/setup for Sammy Pay, but it is on Android pay :/

This is not a good start guys.

Mine never seems to run in the background. I always close it out(not disable) immediately after using in. It rarely even shows in my battery usage.

Yea it's coz i opened it but wasn't using it at the time, now it is active, so it only runs when its been opened. Still prefer Android pay for the other reasons though :)

Huh?? It takes literally just a second or two to use your fingerprint. Sheesh. If that's too much for you, get a Gear S3 and use it instead.

I bank at 3 different banks and only 1 supports SP. Even so, SP is superior to AP.

Y'all are banking with the wrong banks.
