Samsung Pay problem.

Has anyone else been having trouble with Samsung pay. It says I am not connected to the internet. I am, I have deleted it and downloaded it again.
 
I have an S9+ on T-Mobile USA and it seems ok when I open the app and start the payment process. Not actually at a store when I tried this however...
 
is it the app that says it or is it an overlay on a specific card? it is still supposed to work without the internet for x number of transactions. not sure of the number of times.
 
Are you using any battery saving settings?

My battery is set to optimized and always has been. If just stopped working one day while I was trying to check out. I can't get past the welcome screen when I redownloaded it. It's been this way for weeks.
