Samsung Pay vs Android Pay -- which one are you using?

Has anyone tried both Samsung Pay and Android Pay, and if so, which one do you prefer?

I've never used any of them before, but after forgetting my wallet at home this past weekend, I decided it's time for me to set one up on my Note 8.

I don’t like the way Google tacks what you purchase. I use my banks app

There is absolutely no reason to use android pay. Samsung rewards you for using Samsung pay. I already cashed in $25 in visa cards $10 amazon card and im sitting in 13000 points. On my s7 I got $250 worth of samsung.com merchandise.

Anyway to use at gas pumps yet? Aside from tricking the magnetic reader. As if you're doing that, you might as well just insert your credit card.

I've used it at Kwik Trip stations here in Minnesota, where they have NFC sensors at the pump. Other than that, I haven't seen it anywhere. And since Kwik Trip isn't very common in the Twin Cities metro area (even in the inner ring suburbs), my ability to use Samsung Pay at the pump is highly limited. Haven't seen compatible terminals at any other gas station...

Samsung Pay here too, but I would like to also see it as an option for some in app purchases like for Android Pay. For example, you can use Android Pay for Uber. Would like to start seeing stuff like that for Samsung Pay. Otherwise, it's not even close.

I've used Samsung Pay since it was introduced to tge S7E Never used Android Pay and Samsung Pay just seems better since it can be used just about everywhere

How about Walmart, I've heard somewhere that SP won't work with their terminals as they push Walmart Pay. Anyone ever try?

I love Samsung Pay! I love getting the rewards and winning stuff. Got a fast wireless charger, 2 sets of the Samsung Level U headphones and got about 11 grand in points.

Many places still have the card swiper as part of the monitor of the register. I asked once at Taco Bell and I reached over and used Samsung Pay and it worked. It's inconvenient and sort of awkward to do. I wish more of these places would get regular card machines. I was curious about gas stations. good to know.

So far in my kinda backwoods town, I'm blowing minds with it.

The faces are priceless arent they. It actualky didnt work today, somewhere I've used many times before (Paninis with a monitor card slide). I think the girl wasn't doing it right. So after Awhile I used the card. But her face when she saw it pop on the screen (even though it didn't go thru) was hilarious. Jaw just dropped.

I've been having problems with Samsung Pay where a machine will say my card is declined, and the card interface on Samsung Pay says the card is suspended and I need contact my bank. Then I have to go through the process of deleting my card and reapplying it. This has happen five times thus far. I called Samsung, and get no concrete answer, my bank (citibank) doesn't give a concrete answer. Has anyone experienced this?
