Maybe it's my store or just the terminal I used. I may have used the same terminal the last couple of times. I'll try a different one next time. My store's readers look just like the one in your picture. So, that can't be the reason.

Did you try it as credit. Or try as debit.

PayPal credit cant be linked to the PayPal Visa debit, at least not at this time. I have my PayPal Visa debit card on Samsung pay. They started taking it late last year I believe

I can't get Samsung Pay working on my Note 9. Worked flawlessly on my note 8 and gear S3. Registered all cards perfectly but didn't work on either! In touch with Samsung... Need to send them log files! Fingers crossed! I am in the UK

Went into Cold Stone Creamery. Said I forgot my card in the car because I did, and asked if I could use my phone. They have one of those small portable card processing machines. She said "We dont have Apple Pay yet". I said "this isnt Apple, its Samsung Pay" and proceeded to successfully use it

Square? My church's gift shop uses Square for credit card processing. I need to try Samsung Pay the next time I'm there!

I used Samsung oay when I had the s8 edge and it worked on a square. The lady was blown away lol

Yes it does. I have my 2% card setup on mine

I was using it not long after it first came about and it was really freaking people out at places they didn't know anything about it was funny

That happened to me once at Taco Bell, where they don’t accept NFC payments. The young lady behind the counter wanted to buy a GS9 after that transaction

Also use it fairly regularly at Applebees - they have the card swipe that's along the side of the montitor. They know me as "She's the one that pays with her phone".

It just baffles me that the majority of people are only aware of Apple and iPhone services.
We have an iPhone slappy as one of the morning news anchors here and every time a Samsung device is mentioned in a story, he pulls out his iPhone. Way to interject your way into every story.

I have been rather surprised with some people's education and I live in a major city(Houston) so there are a good amount of business's that advertise their acceptance of Samsung pay.

I successfully completed 3 more transactions this morning. Two of them (a local grocery store and Dunkin Donuts) support NFC, and the third (Panera) didn’t, so I used MST. It’s just so cool that we can use electronic payments when Apple and Google Pay customers can’t!

Sometimes, if you hold your phone by the reader too long, it doesn't like it. I typically hold it there 2-3 seconds, pull it away for a couple seconds to see if it registered, then put my phone near it again if it didn't.
I used it at the golf course this morning and the guy working there (early 20's) said he'd never seen anyone use it here before.

I was such a chicken today. Went to Best Buy and a car wash shop. Both times I was too nervous to use Samsung pay.

Oops, maybe next time. At least I’ve finally figured out the whole swipe up thing to get to Samsung pay. Progress
