Samsung Perks Registration

I bought my Tab 3 7' on NewEgg and they were advertising various perks for purchasing. For example they had 50GB of DropBox space, $25 Play Store credit, etc. However despite buying a brand new tab and everything. Samsung keeps saying that the serial numbers dont match. I want to ask the community if anyone else has had this issue before I contact Samsung.

I've had the same trouble with my Tab 3 and our kiddie version. Make sure you do all caps for the serial and Wi-Fi address, and make sure you use the Wi-Fi MAC address and not the Bluetooth address like I did it also took a couple of attempts when was doing it right so just keep trying.

Also I didn't get the Dropbox space because I've had it twice on an S3 and a Tab 2, and DB told me I can only use that promotion once each for a phone and a tablet. If that's the case for you, make a new DB account or log in to DB with someone else's and let them take the 48GB.

Why does Samsung need the MAC address? Seems like nothing but another way to track usage and invade privacy!

This was an annoying process. I registered 2 Tab 3 8.0 tablets and had to redo the info 3-4 times each.
No indication of what you might have input incorrectly, just a message that The Numbers Don't Match.

I would sit there and go over each number to insure that they matched and still get the message.
I was finally successful on both though. already burned through my $10 Goggle Play credit
