Samsung pie update has issues with notifications

After downloading the Samsung pie update you will find that you will no longer receive notifications for texts, emails or chats. To correct this, you must release notifications.
1} select settings
2} select apps
3} select the 3 menu dots in the upper right corner and select show system apps.
4} scroll down to badge provider.
5} select force stop.
6} restart your phone.
You might have to do this periodically until Samsung can send out a patch to correct the problem.

Any fix for 'cannot verify identity' for Samsung notes?

Get in contact with Samsung and they can access your phone from their end to fix it. All you have to do is download an app and click allow on settings. They will give u a slot on which time they will call you back.
