They could have as much room as they want. They are the ones designing the phone.Probably because they didn't have room. Regardless, they didn't, so I see little value in kicking it around.
So why not the note 8?
With a removable battery and back the Note could offer the option of an even larger battery.
But that would be contrary to the replicate Apple game plan.
Removable back makes the phone thicker than a sealed back with the same capacity. Would also ruin the water resistance that many people enjoy.
Wrong, the S5 was water resistant and had a removable battery.Removable back makes the phone thicker than a sealed back with the same capacity. Would also ruin the water resistance that many people enjoy.
Indeed, because this throw away mentality has to go sooner or later!we're still going on about removable batteries? lol

Yeah, we are. Because it was the best feature the Note line had. You can accept a crippled phone. Doesn't mean the rest of us have to.
And I thought it was the Pen. To me, that is really the only feature that makes it unique. There were other phones with removable batteries. Personally, I'd prefer a bigger battery to a removable one, but sadly we got neither.Yeah, we are. Because it was the best feature the Note line had. You can accept a crippled phone. If I had my way, I'd take the S8+, make it a little wider for the pen, a little thicker for more battery, and DONE.![]()
