But wait! There's more! Order within the next 20 minutes and get a FREE guide on how to MAKE YOUR OWN for only $49.99 processing and handling (plus and additional $4.99 shipping).

I think this thread is going sideways now. :D

Wasn't it always sideways?:D

I think after watching JerryRigEverything on YouTube you will change your mind. International buyers have had a few too many shortcuts. People are complaining of overheating on the Exynos version and why? No thermal paste, no copper cooling. No cooling of any kind. Yet in the SD version there is copper cooling and the works. How can Samsung make 2 phones and market them as the same when one is clearly inferior to the other? It is a total ripoff.

I think it has been established that the copper and graphite heat spreaders have been fitted to both variants and there isn't a massive difference between them.

I think Zack made an excellent point in his video. I have been building pcs for years and I have never known a cpu to not have thermal paste covering it. Even budget phones use thermal paste. It is blinking cheap enough. I won't accept that a substance used as secondary cooling is equivalent to copper and water cooling. Sorry.

I've been building PC's for years also and you are correct, thermal paste is a must, check out the video that Linus Tech did on graphite heat spreaders, they work but not quite as well, which maybe the case here, but even so, there are Snapdragon variants getting hot also which maybe explains it if they are randomly fitting graphite heat spreaders.

Could it be certain markets have more stringent requirements? I know going back the B&O DAC module for the LG G5 and V20 with a built in B&O DAC wasn't available in U.S. markets because of some regulations.

Only thing you can do about it is not purchase one. Every month when. A new phone is released manufacturers leave out, shorten, give less etc. Apple even does it with their chargers. I am so use to it I just go with the flow of I want the device.
When Apple released the Phone 5, the first phone without that huge multi-pin charging port (Lighting port?), they didn't even include a free connector for those with equipment with legacy ports. Seems like the charged $20-25ish for it.

Apple is all about the money grab. Wait until they go from Lightning to USB-C and see how much they charge for those adapters. >.<

I bought the 512gb there is a lot I like and dislike. For everything new they seem to take away something good. I have owned each and every Note and each year the price increases. This year felt like a unjustified jump! But not a rip off! If they had not removed anything this year and just added to it then I would feel the price is justified.

You paid $350 more than you did for the Note 10+ last year. Why? Because of 5G which 99.9% of the people don't benefit from. It sucks. Last year we had an option but this year we don't. The extremely high cost of 5G is being forced upon us. That's why Samsung cut the storage from 256gb to 128gb. Now we're paying for 512gb which most of us don't need because we have memory cards. I have 1 TB. 256gb was the sweet spit. So we're paying a lot for things we don't need instead of getting more beneficial and useful features. I'd of rather had the 5000mAh battery the S20 Ultra got than 5G.
