Samsung S20 FE

[Android Central Question]

I have a Samsung S20 FE. I am connected to wifi and have data. When a friend is texting me from another Samsung, it is saying "recipient not connected to wifi send as MMS" when they try to text me. Is there a setting I need to change on MY phone or their's?

If either party not connected WiFi you get regular sms it notifying you chat RCS not in use whoever doesn't have WiFi
