samsung s3 minI sm-g730v no service

i bought my samsung s3 mini from a friend long ago just fectory restored it today and after restore its not accepting sim .. however the sim setting does show but no services and signal .. screenshots are attached below
i tried to open services manu by dialing *#0011# but i get nothing there
and the network mode is not available in mobile network setting

It's possible that the contacts on the SIM are dirty (wipe them with a clean cloth), the SIM is bad or the SIM port in the phone is bad. (Assuming that the phone isn't locked to a carrier different from the one the SIM belongs to.)
