Samsung S5 receiving text messages out of order

My Samsung S5 is receiving text messages out of order. If within a conversation I respond in a couple different messages. the next time the person I am talking to responds it is above my response but, should be below it. Is there any way I can correct this?

Really? It sounds interesting but annoying too. I'm interested in Samsung, but your case is trouble.

If I was you I wouldn't worry about that, I read these forums just about every day and this is the first one I hear about this problem.

Is your automatic network time on or off? I had problems on my s4 unless it was on. Worth a shot anyway.

How would I find out if the automatic network time is on or off?

Yes, I did!

It was the automatic network. I went to settings....then to date and time (found in system). I had to make sure the Automatic date and time and also the automatic time zone both had check marks. Since I did that the messages have been coming in order. Hope this helps you!

It is fixed.
Went to settings and then date and time (under system) had to make sure automatic date and time was checked.....as long with automatic time zone. Since then problem has been solved.

Although the conversations in the past are still mixed up, but now they come in order...

Yeah, this is happening to me too, but on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 running on Lollipop. Worst OS ever, I have had nothing but problems since leaving Kit Kat.
