It is getting a bit annoying: everytime i go from a darker enviroment to lets say the sun the autobrightness does not work very well it stays tempered. In the sun i do not see anything because auto brightness isn't adjusting itself to the Sunny envirement. When i set it to full brightness it is much to light for darker enveroments so i have to set it back every time...

I have the newest android version on it version 6.1, someone got a solution to this?

Another annoying thing is that every evening the Phone lays on the table with its face down the sides of the Edge are glewing when, i thing a calender item or some items appear. When i pick up the Phone i do not see anything but sure 5 times a evening the sides are giving lights and i do not know why, maybe this is a setting so if someone knows what setting?

1. Make sure the light sensor isn't covered by any part of a case.

2. Try Velis Auto Brightness. I've always preferred it to the internal autobrightness of most phones.

Yeah, 6.0.1 broke something with auto-brightness.
I'm on a 64GB T-Mobile non-Edge phone.

With the new 6.0.1 update, when the phone is on auto-brightness at 100%, it sometimes goes into max brightness. Using tools that seems about 40k Lux. At that point, the screen gets SUPER bright, which is great, BUT the polling rate is too frequent, and it flickers. Unfortunately, when the lux is that high, it fluctuates anyway. You can tell when it's at max brightness because the colors wash out.

The only 'fix' I found so far was to install Lux Dash and just set the max brightness to 99%.
