Samsung S6 Edge Camera problem

My galaxy s6 edge camera doesn't focus on applications apart from the original camera application.

Yes. Using any other it has problems focusing on close-up objects. For example a qr scanner.

I've seen that kind of behavior with banking apps (when taking pictures of checks for deposit). My guess is that it's related to the app, and not your camera. Try sending feedback to the developers of those apps to let them know about the poor camera performance.
