Samsung S6 Gallery app has no thumbs row when viewing a picture

Hi,
I have a Samsung S6 with the nougat OS, and the stock Gallery app shows no thumbs row at the bottom when I'm viewing a picture and the toolbar is visible.
Why?!

This is incredibly useful for navigating, especially when I take multiple pictures and don't want to go out to the thumbs view and then back in to picture view again.

How can I make the thumbs row return ?

Welcome to the forums. Have you looked in the Gallery settings? It would be there if that option is available in the app.
