Samsung S6 OTA udate on International SM-920F in USA

Hello All, I have an international version SM-G920F. Here are the codes it shows:

AP G920FxxU3COJ1
CP/PDA G920FXXU3COI9
CSC G920FVIR3COJ1

The thing is, it's a UK region phone and I am planning to use internationally as I travel, but I live in the USA. The marshmallow update is coming soon, but I'm not sure how (OR IF) I'll receive it. My assumption is that I will NOT get by OTA because my phone is reporting it's a UK version phone.

I am wondering.... maybe the best way would be to find the USA version of the 5.1.1 firmware for this model (does that exist?), and restore it, then if my region on the phone changes to USA, the phone will then download automatically the 6.0.1 update when it's available here? Does this sound like the right approach? Or is there anything else I am not taking into account?

You will not be able to put firmware of another model onto that one. Its only going to allow G920F firmware.
Also there is no USA Version. There are different carrier versions, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint and AT&T with a few smaller regional carriers im not listing.
There might also be an unlocked version but i dont think that was USA exclusive. That should be the actual official unlocked version Samsung sold.

Ok, thanks for the information. Seems that my international version phone will remain international version.
We will see if the update finds me on it's own or if I have to download and update manually.
