Samsung S6 vs S7 Battery Life

Hi,

I have had a Samsung S6 since July 2015. I am noticing accelerated poor battery life, have done all the usual tricks and am wondering if an upgrade to the S7 will solve my problems. I am eligible for upgrade, wanted to wait for S8 next spring but am rethinking my decision based on the S6 current battery issues.

To those who have had both S6 and S7 -- did you notice improved battery with the S7? Enough to make you happy about the upgrade (apart from the other improvements such as better camera, etc.).

S7 is way better. S6 is known for poor battery life and the S7 is known for decent battery life. Especially if you get the S7 Edge.

Something that helps a little is getting the Doze app that goes with ShutApp. Both are by the same company. Try it before you buy it. Success may vary but it helps some. But yeah, an S7 would probably be better.
