I can't post a link here now. Just read the news from QualcommHow do you know it's only 2.0? According to the following link, it appears to be 3.0.
What the heck is Quick Charge 3.0 anyway? How much faster does it charge than 2.0?
C'mon don't you know that anything in the tech world a bigger number is better?!?
This thing charges extremely fast with 2.0. I'm not concerned.
For smartphones, the actual maximum amount of power available has not really changed from Quick Charge 2.0’s 18W maximum. Newer 9V models will still take the same 18W peak power as before, although lower voltage batteries may receive a power boost, allowing them to charge up a little faster than before. But this all depends on the exact hardware.
I other words, you wouldn't see that much difference between 2.0 and 3.0 anyway.
I'm not familiar with quick charge (I use a Galaxy S4 (Sprint)).
I just pre-ordered S7.
I read here that Quick Charge requires batter charger with "Adaptive fast charging or Quick Charge 2.0)
Does this refer to the electric plug block, the USB to micro-usb cord, or both?
What about car plug chargers?
