Samsung s9 Exynos battery life?

Hi everyone, I have an HTC m8 and want to upgrade to a new flagship this year, I live in Germany and Samsung s9 is on sale and have been thinking about getting one, but have been reading about the poor battery life of the Samsung s9 with Exynos chip. I am not up to date concerning Samsung products or software updates, so can users who have been using the phone for some time now confirm whether it indeed has a poor battery life and whther there is an update to fix the issue.

I can confirm it indeed has a poor battery life, I owned a S8+ before the S9+ and it is worse.
