Samsung S9 plus European model

[Android Central Question]

Guys I have received my S9 plus yesterday 128 gb,on bottom of the box there is a discretion ''European model-EE/EEA ,SWIZARLAND, and use it elsewhere use 5mins EU oparetor and so on,
Is there any difference in UK or rest of the EU .Or it's same model for this region.
I am from London.
Secondly ,I am confused shall i keep this or wait for note 9 is there any big difference coming.
In money wise I have paid 695 . After using a voucher which was a previously given after faulty products . So help me which one is worthy.
I am new to forums I any meaning goes wrong I sorry.

It’s locked to the EE network, and furthermore, to the Swiss EE network? If so, did you buy it knowing that?
