Samsung Tab 3 7.0 ATT Bluetooth keyboard paired but doesn't work

I have paired my bluetooth keyboard from poetic easily...but IT DOESNT work. It works with other devices(samsung galaxy s4) but my tablet does not recognize the keyboard as an input option. Does anyone know if this is a driver issue? :'( I asked samsugn support chat and they told me to reset my device. Of course I lost all my data, settings, and apps. And it still doesn't work! Now I have three hours of set up to redo. Sad day. HELP!
