Samsung trade in

Friday will make two weeks since they received it. How long does it usually take to open a box? lol

Got my email from Samsung. Device accepted. Today makes two weeks to the day that the phone was delivered to samsung for inspection

Tomorrow will be 1 month since my device was delivered. Still no news. Contacted customer service 3 times, and all they say is that it is going to be processed soon. Any suggestion?

As long as they not charging your credit card that's a good sign. That's one reason why I get nervous to go direct with Samsung.

Coworker got hosed. Samsung hit him with the device fee just to send him back the wrong phone. He's livid

That’s my issue... still no word over a month later and multiple Samsung chats. I sent in a perfectly fine iPhone 7 so it better be accepted.

I don't know what's worse taking a chance on getting rejected through Samsung or going through Best Buy and having to wait weeks to get your phone over everyone else. LOL! My husband was lucky his got accepted but he wants his Note 8 back but were switching carriers so it'll be better.

The previous Samsung Trade-in last year was a disaster with many many people getting ripped off by this. Not only did they reject the trade-in but kept the phone as well. Filing a complaint with the BBB worked for many of us including me. The reversed their position and credited the trade-in.

I'm so glad to see this year is better for people getting their trade-in money from Samsung. I would be very hesitant to go back down that path again.
