I cant believe that none has responded to your query, I have the same issue, the system asked me for an android update, i clicked yes, and after a whole i started seeing the exact same message as yours. Sprint does not have 24 hour customer support any more which is terrible, now i have to wait till the morning and i needed to use the phone.

I had this same problem. It was ridculiously annoying because I was pressing basically every button and nothing happened. I called a local sprint store, and I fixed it in about 2 seconds after they told me what to do. Basically, all you have to do is press the button BELOW the power button while "reboot system" is highlighed. Your phone will restart and when it turns on it will be back to normal. I was told this was because I did a system update and this is the last step. Well hope this helps!! :)

I had the same problem and I was out of town on vacation. I took my phone in to a Sprint store and the tech there told me my phone needed a "part" that was no longer in stock and they would have to replace my phone. I told them I would take care of it when I returned home. Thank goodness I didn't let them change out my phone -- I would have lost everything. Your fix took care of my problem and my phone is back in working order. Thank you SOOOOO much!! :D
