We've reached a point where there's no reason to think they'll actually fix it. Shutter speed/blurry pet and kid pictures have been a problem for a long time now. If Samsung would actually address this I might actually leave my Pixel behind. Until then, I'll stay Team Pixel.

I was totally crushed last year when my Note 20 Ultra crashed in Daytona while we were on vacation! The AT&T Store didn't have any so they shoved an S22 Ultra in my my hands and, like you sweetypie, it's been O.K., but I still think the Note was a better device!

I love the s22 because imo it's the exact phone as the n20. I could have saved my money and waited , but of course I just had to have the newest.

Samsung faked me out yesterday. They sent me an offer for up to $1000 trade in. For whatever reason I was thinking, they know what I have and I know how many here have said they weren't offering enough so maybe they've up'd the offer, but nope. That must be for one of the foldables. In the past I've said it was hard to justify a new device and ended up getting one anyway but, yeah, this year the low offer is making it very easy to feel like I'm good with what I have. LOL

I actually caved... I found a way to save an additional $100 and receive a free Galaxy Buds2 Pro, bringing my net cost to $680 Canadian, which is about 500 USD (before I sell the earbuds and recoup a further ~200 CAD). I ordered the S23U 512GB in Sky Blue... too bad the ETA is currently March 21st. I think I'll live, though too bad the kids' hockey season will be over by then, so battle-testing the improvements in 10x video quality will have to wait.

Not seeing any reason to upgrade my S22 is perfect don't need a few changes to spend more money period. Soon people will keep their devices until they break or just too old.

You have to do what's best for you
Nothing wrong with your decision. I like new tech so I pulled the trigger. I love my S23 Ultra so far got it yesterday.
