I pre ordered the S23 Ultra 512gb (free storage upgrade from 256gb) in green. Only £610 trade in so not the best here in the UK.
Also snagged a Galaxy book 3 Pro 360 1TB (again 1TB for the price of 512gb) the only downer was that the 1TB comes only in Graphite, I would have chosen the Beige but it is what it is!

This is and isn't surprising to me. I've upgraded the last 3 years and always gotten more than I paid for my trade. I couldn't really understand how they were able to do this year after year but now that the econ has taken a turn I'm not surprised it's less. Like others in this thread I probably would have done it if the trade was more. I know I don't need to but getting the latest greatest for a few hundred bucks is something I would have done.
We'll see if they don't offer more at some point. I'm sure they're expecting sales to be lower this year but not doing their usual thing with the high trade offers is likely going to drive them down a bit farther.

I preorderd the S23 ultra 1TB in green, free memory upgrade from 512Gb, and got £620 trade in from my s22 ultra 512Gb here in the UK. Plus I got the Samsung leather case in green for it.

I was offered $835 Canadian for my S22U 512 (485 trade-in + 350 bonus), leaving $815 + 13% tax to pay for a 512GB S23U. Even the $100 code I received for pre-registering only brought the total down by $50 as they included Galaxy Buds2 "for free" with no option to remove them and get the remaining $50 off as well.
I am sticking with my S22U.

$1000 TMobile trade in is only on Magenta Max plan. lower plans, like 55+ don't qualify for the $1K. So I guess I'm keeping my S22 Ultra.
Too bad Samsung gave up this perk to the carriers.
