I called Samsung today inquiring about the invitation and when they would announce the winners and they told me they would be notifying the winners this weekend but who knows if that was a true statement or not. I have gotten some pretty Savvy texts on my calls to Samsung even when earlier in the year I heard about the Note 8 coming out and they told me then it would be sometime August September so they knew then that the Note 8 would be coming out but this one today sounded like she was just guessing on what she should tell me so who knows when we'll hear about it.

I got the invite but it is the day after my birthday and I will be away on the west coast on holiday. Otherwise, it would just be a subway ride - no need for accommodation/transportation. lol
I just assumed everyone got the invite and they would select from those who responded.

The invite was for 50 people only...well they were paying for 50 people and a guest but I haven't heard anything either and I would have thought they would have notified those who got chosen by now. I wonder if you don't get chosen they will do the unveiling live? Didn't they do that for the Note 7?
I already promised someone my plus one, but if stuff doesn't work out the way it needs to then I'll keep you in mind. That is, if I win, and all. LoL

Could be a possibility...IF I win, IF my husband or any of my kids don't come, BUT especially since I know you from AC, Crackberry and good 'ole Howard Forums, I'm pretty sure you're not an ax murderer, lol! (You're not...right??!)
I LOVED the Crackberry days! And I haven't touched Howard Forums in FOREVER! LOVED that site! That was back in my Palm days!

I never had a Palm, but did have some Casio equivalent. Don't remember if I messed with that, but was mostly learning about BitPim for all my LG flip phones, lol. Loved tinkering with, tho occasionally bricking, my phones.

I'm not! And yea I was on Howard Forums back in the day! DAMN that was a long LONG time ago! Today I'm trying to decide if I REALLY need a Dex Station. It's 98 dollars in Amazon, BUT do I REALLY need it? I have a couple Windows PCs, a Win 10 phone with their doc, Continuum. a Macbook, an iMac, and of course several cell phones and tablets. Do I REALLY need Dex? lol
